Growing in faith often happens in ordinary moments: opening your Bible before a busy day, pausing to pray before making a decision, or choosing patience when frustration comes easily.
At Shepherd’s Love Ministry, our mission is to equip people with God’s Word. As we learn what Scripture teaches, we begin to recognize how it speaks to our choices, relationships, and responsibilities.
Make Room for God’s Word
You don’t have to read several chapters a day to begin building a meaningful habit. Start with a passage you can read carefully. Consider what it reveals about God, what you don’t yet understand, and how it might shape your response to something you’re facing.
Psalm 119:105 describes God’s Word as a lamp for our feet and a light for our path. A lamp helps us see where to step. Sometimes, the understanding we receive today helps us take one faithful step, even when we cannot see everything ahead.
Try setting aside a few minutes to read without rushing. Return to the same passage if you need to. Keep a notebook nearby for questions and observations.
Put What You Learn into Practice
James 1:22 calls us to act on God’s Word. Reading Scripture gives us an opportunity to examine how we live and respond.
A passage about forgiveness may bring a strained relationship to mind. Teaching about generosity may prompt you to consider how you use your resources. A reminder of God’s love may help you approach someone with greater compassion.
After reading, ask yourself: What is one way I can put this into practice today?
The answer may be small, but following through matters.
Keep Growing Together
Questions are part of learning. Studying Scripture with others gives us space to listen, ask, and deepen our understanding.
We invite you to join Shepherd’s Love Ministry for Saturday Bible study at 10:00 a.m. or Sunday worship at 11:30 a.m. Come ready to learn as we grow together in the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ.
A moment for reflection: What small change could help you make more room for God’s Word this week?
